  3. Don’t Let It In

    I have feelings of nothing

    nothing more to it

the depression wants to sink in

but I don’t let it in

    I have thought of you

And I have images in my head

of singing songs at the funerals

    of those resurrected

    For some strange unknown reason

    I don’t feel anything

the loneliness wants to sink in

but I don’t let it in

    I have thought of you

And I have images in my head

of singing songs at the funerals

    of those resurrected

    Why don’t I feel something

    I make something outta nothin

the darkness wants to creep in

but I don’t let it in

  5. Nothin’s lost

I’ve come to know my part in life, With great attempt and strife

I wonder what it must be like

    To be lost

I wonder what I would say and do, If all I could find was myself in you

Deeper I go into the heart of the matter, My dear can’t you see?

    We’re not lost..

In that there’s no sanity, It’s a fact like gravity

Made to show us one thing only

    We were never lost

That we are free to run wherever we want, And take our home with us everywhere

Cause it’s in this place where I see myself found

In the warm embrace of Heaven’s sound

Nothin’s lost" Written by myself, just recently..

where morning dawns, where evening fades,
you call forth songs of joy.” - Psalms 65:8

  8. High

I’m feeling on top of the sky

    I fly

Out of pure joy, I cry

    While time slows, and

Sounds of scatter fills my ears

    That’s down below

    Up here, I’m everywhere

    You can’t catch me

    I’m quick as stars

    Hurdle myself over clouds

Rain falls up under my feet

    I look away

    I’m on the moon

    Drifting, swifting and spinning

    And tripping

    What a feeling this is

    A real pleasure

    Just for good measure

    On top of the sky

    So, very, high

    "High" written by myself

  10. Nothin’ like surfing

    There is nothing like surfing.

Surfing is unique; it’s you connecting with very creation itself, you and nature interacting with each other; sounds bizarre, but true. A person can study waves all their life, they can get informed on how waves break, how they are formed, where they come from and what kind of waves you get, but the ultimate opportunity that a surfer has is his/her ability to experience the waves for themselves. A surfer can actually feel the wave and the wave can ultimately control a person’s emotions. If you catch a good wave you’re happy and if you catch a bad one then you want to go back and catch a better one to feel better. Whatever the wave does you do. You cannot do something on a wave that the wave itself doesn’t allow.

I get overwhelmed by the fact that never will a wave ever break exactly the same way it did before… crazy!
